Relaxing evening
Started a little picture tonight while hubby and I watched "30 Days of Night" (beginning to think I do my best stitching in front of old movies!). The description said that it is suitable for beginners - so let's hope.
Only finished some of the ball that this little guy is holding but it was a lot of fun. It is really relaxing for me seeing all the little even stitches starting to make a shape (even if it is not a recognizable shape yet). The color in this photo is also a bit misleading, I think - it is actually a brilliant deep red (think it is this dead color because of the artificial light when I took the photo).

I know I do my best stitching watching movies! Nice start.

ReplyDeleteI get lots of stitching done when the TV is on, my husband does the 'channel flick' which drives me crazy, so I stitch instead of watching! Cute stitching project, does he have a name?
ReplyDeletePauline and I must have the same husband (LOL). But I do get my best stitching done with a good movie going. I love this little project it is really cute.
