Retrenched . . .

I heard today – from 31 May 2011 I will be without a job.

5 days to go . . .

5 more days to go for the first phase of our retrenchments.  I have not been able to read or really do much of anything in the past few weeks since the announcement.  Hopefully things will be a little easier from Monday on (well if you can call having to apply for your old job again, easy), the next big date is 31 May 2011.

Retrenchments announced today

We heard in a meeting this afternoon that 70 people in our sector at work will be retrenched by end of May. 
I know I have always made no secret of how much I hate my job but it pays the bills and I cannot afford NOT to work.  I am so stressed right now.  I don’t know if I will be able to go through a job interview . . .
