Free on Amazon today and tomorrow

Just a note that this book is available free on Amazon today and tomorrow.

PLEASE CHECK THE PRICE BEFORE YOU CLICK.

Blurb: The last thing zaftig middle-aged journalist, Rhoda Ginsburg, expected when she signed up for JDate was to fall in love with a vampire. But when she meets drop-dead gorgeous Sheldon, a Hasidic vampire, she falls hard. She rationalizes that he may not be alive, but at least he’s Jewish.
She learns that back in the nineteenth century Sheldon was a rabbi who was turned into a vampire by Count Dracula, an anti-Semite who got his kicks from turning Orthodox Jews into vampires because then they’d have to drink blood, which isn’t kosher.
Soon after she meets Sheldon, she discovers her beloved mother, Fanny, is terminally ill, so she comes up with the crackpot idea of getting Sheldon to turn Fanny and her friends, known as “the goils,” into vampires. Once she becomes a vampire, Fanny tires of her boring life in Century Village, Florida, and, seeking thrills, she goes clubbing and disappears into the nightlife of South Beach in Miami. When Fanny and her goil posse “go rogue” and start preying on the young, Rhoda and Sheldon must track them down to keep them from killing again.
Interview with a Jewish Vampire turns vampire lore on its head, proving that not all vampires are young and beautiful and it IS possible to be undead and kosher.

Free books I found #9

Merry Christmas everyone!

Lets jump right into this week’s books.  Firstly I found this one.

image
Boom by Jim Brown
A young woman darts into a Los Angeles hospital emergency room screaming for help. The cause of her concern is a three inch tattoo on her left arm that reads: 00:01- BOOM!
She doesn’t know how, when, or where she got it. But she swears it’s . . . changing.
“When I woke up this morning it said ten hours,” she tells the ER nurse. “But later when I looked it said five hours and twenty-three minutes. So I started watching it – real close like – and I saw it wiggle and change. Oh God. I think it’s counting down.”
Anne Thayer is a relatively new nurse but dedicated to her craft. And even though the patient is clearly a meth-head Anne does her very best to assuage the girls obvious delusions until – the nurse sees it too. A three inch tattoo moving, rearranging to read: 00:00 – BOOM!
Click here to go to Jim’s website and don’t forget to watch his little VLOG – too funny!

And now something for Christmas :)

Insight by Jamie Magee is first.  I saw this on a blog this week and had to go and see what it is about.  I think it was the cover. :)
Before that fateful summer night, Willow had balanced the insight of emotion, and her vivid images. That night, the figure in her nightmare marked her wrist with a star, giving her father no choice but to tell Willow a family secret that would abruptly change life, as she knew it, forever.

Still the One by Kathryn Shay I found on Smashwords.  I haven’t read it yet but it seems like a cute little love story :)

In Still the One, Annie Jacobs is happy teaching at her home town high school until her former teacher, Dylan Kane, returns to be the principal. Annie and Dylan have a past, one which almost destroyed her. Will he do it again?
I have decided to add a Mr Linky – so if there are any free eBooks that you think should be shared with the rest of us, please add it below.

Free books I found this week #6

I am a little late this week but I did find some books that I want to share with you.

This sounds like such a crazy little book (a very short story) and it's about zombies, so how can I resist.

Hummingbirds. You know what they are. Tiny emerald speed demons. People used to hang out jars of red sugar-water for them... until environmental disasters rewired their tiny brains and aggressive appetites to prefer the taste of human blood. But they’d better watch out who they mess with, because Sissy has an aerosol can, and she knows how to turn it into a flamethrower!

Have you ever been to camp? What would you do if the adults left “for a few hours” and they had not returned a week later? What if your parents never showed up to take you home? What would you do if you realized that the area below was surrounded by a mysterious brown fog that was dangerous? How would you survive the winter? What would you eat? Warning-sexual situations, cursing, violence.

Blurb:
Kelsie Connor is looking for a big headline to jumpstart her career as a journalist--like proving the existence of vampires and werewolves. She's always felt that Others exist, though she's never met one herself. So on the night of the Blood Moon, Kelsie goes looking for a werewolf...but meets a vampire instead. A vampire who makes her blood run hot and makes her feel things she never imagined a body could feel.
Hayden Flann had been secretly watching Kelsie for some time, drawn to her by a powerful bloodlust and equally strong sexual attraction. But Hayden recognizes that he and Kelsie are connected by more than passion. Little does she know that Hayden is not just her lover--he's also her enemy, born to seduce her before he kills her....

Free Books I found this week #4

This week I found some fun stuff, so without further ado . . .  (as always click on the image to go to the book)
At 1 Place for Romance, I found this book that sounds kinda silly which is right up my street :)
Susan_Slutt_Solves_The_Mystery(1)
Now isn’t that a perfect title for a book!  Here is the blurb:
Step aside, Nancy Drew, and watch out, Hardy Boys! Join Susan Slutt, the greatest girl detective since the invention of sanitary pads, her best friend Ashleigh, her adopted sister Butch, her fey pal Beverly Francis Bold, those intrepid and hard-partying Baccardi Boys Frank and Joe, and a whole cast of queer adventurers in "Susan Slutt Solves the Mystery."
Porkerville is hosting a sleuthing convention, and all the great detectives are there: Fancy Few, the Baccardi Boys, the Boobsey Twins, the Dinah Girls, and many more! But when a real mystery threatens to ruin the convention, can Susan Slutt save the day and solve the crisis before any of the other fabulous sleuths earn the glory for themselves?
If you've never read any Susan Slutt stories before, why not start with this one? With its bawdy and irreverent humor, queer subtext and sexual innuendos, you won't be sorry!

After her husband Nick goes missing in Egypt, sheltered art curator Carina Wilde flies out to find him in a land devastated by a man-made flood two years earlier — a fulfillment of the Biblical prophecy of Ezekiel, many believe.
Stumbling upon the secrets he uncovered, she becomes a fugitive pursued by despots, religious fanatics, looters and occupying powers. Her only allies are an orphan scavenging the ruins of Cairo, and a Suez bar-girl whose relationship with Nick is just one of the questions Carina is forced to confront…
A dark satire for an age when the righteous and ruthless shape our world, Gog - An End Time Mystery is written with a rare insight into Egyptian life, Middle Eastern geopolitics, and disinformation.
