"Only a few more stitches . . . " was all I said. :) I don't know which one of us was happier when the last stitches went in :)
I am still not happy with the little patch on her forehead but I am waiting till after I finish the right side of her face before I frog it again. I am just going to blend it with the colours beside it. If I don't, it will forever be jumping out at me. Sometimes you just have to do things for peace of mind.
For some blog candy, go and visit Jenny here. She is having a fabric give-away. She is new to blogging, so let's make her feel welcome! The give-away ends 21 October 2009.
EDIT: Melissa was the lucky winner.
Hi Criszette! Shoe, this is beautiful!! This is such a stunning design and such a lot of work. Good luck with your job. We have also been put on short time for October , this leave lots of time for stitching, but doesn’t help financially. Hang in there! For every door that close another one opens! God Bless. {{hugs}} Ronel
ReplyDeleteIs that little patch on her forhead not a tendril of hair? She is going to be beautiful if page 1 is any indication!!
ReplyDeleteWow- great work! She is going to be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's a tendril of hair. I have never been happy with any of HAED's faces. They always seem blotchy. One of the many reasons I have given up on every stitching one. Keep up the good work though. A full page is impressive!
ReplyDeleteYour stitchery is AMAZING!!! I had to giggle... "Only a few more stitches"... I've said that so many times too. :o)
ReplyDeleteWow - you did really well - she is stunning. Michelle x
