On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where you can list all the books you desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. It's also an event that you can join in with too - Mr Linky is always at the ready on Carolyn’s blog.
Just look at this cover – isn’t it gorgeous!
Not sure if we can also post movies here but I just can't wait for Scream 4. I loved the previous in the series and I have read that this one is more like the first in the series which means funny and scary . . . :)
I just saw this on a blog this morning! Another Nightwalkers book!
Book 6 will be here in November – yay! Adam: The Nightwalkers by Jacquelyn Frank (release date
01 November 2011)
This is my picks for this week, what is yours?
It’s Sunday again and after a long absence, I am joining another week of In My Mailbox, hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren. In My Mailbox is a weekly meme that lets everyone see what books you have received or bought that week. Just for fun and some book love.
I saw this book spoken about on another blog and though I would give it a go and then discovered it is free on SMASHWORDS. Don’t you just love when that happens? :)
The Charmer by Autumn Dawn
This book sounds like a lot of cutesy fun :) Can’t wait to escape one Saturday afternoon.
Thank you so much, Marshall Cavendish Children's Books! I received a HUGE envelope with three books including Nora. I have already started reading this book and am enjoying it very much.
Thank you so much for sending me Raziel (The Fallen) by Kristina Douglas, Danielle. What a wonderful “Pick-me-up” gift. I can’t wait to start reading.

This week I only have one book on my list and it is this.
Marcie from To Read or Not to Read hosts this weekly meme with fun ways for us to get to know one another.
Today’s question is:
Have you ever been to a book signing?
I live in South Africa, so no, I have not met any international authors or even South African authors for that matter. I have never had the opportunity and I imagine that I won’t in the near future.
I would love to be able to be in the audience of one of my favourite authors though – Nalini Singh, Shelly Laurenston or Sam Cheever – but I would be too nervous to talk to them. I am one of those people that like to blend into the masses. :) But I would love to hear them speak about how they got the ideas for some of my favourite books.
This past week I have been reading some book blogs again and I am overwelmed with all the great books I have been missing. But I decided to stick my toes in the water again and these are the two books that have caught my attention.

I just love angel books and when I saw this cover, I had to take a closer look . . .

I don’t usually read books about pixies but this one sounds too good to pass on.
A DETERMINED GIRL... Dindi can't do anything right, maybe because she spends more time dancing with pixies than doing her chores. Her clan hopes to marry her off and settle her down, but she dreams of becoming a Tavaedi, one of the powerful warrior-dancers whose secret magics are revealed only to those who pass a mysterious Test during the Initiation ceremony. The problem? No-one in Dindi's clan has ever passed the Test. Her grandmother died trying. But Dindi has a plan. AN EXILED WARRIOR... Kavio is the most powerful warrior-dancer in Faearth, but when he is exiled from the tribehold for a crime he didn't commit, he decides to shed his old life. If roving cannibals and hexers don't kill him first, this is his chance to escape the shadow of his father's wars and his mother's curse. But when he rescues a young Initiate girl, he finds himself drawn into as deadly a plot as any he left behind. He must decide whether to walk away or fight for her... assuming she would even accept the help of an exile.
